09:00 : Arrive Bang-Pa-In (Summer Palace) built 17th century with its beautiful combination of the oriental and western architecture style, surrounding by a beautiful botanical royal garden. Proceed to Ayutthaya, the Ancient capital in the period of 1350-1767 A.D. The most interesting historical sites in the country, to visit a few famous Buddhist Temples, Wat Prasri-Sanphet in the Ancient Palace, transfer to Wat Mahatad and Wihan Phramongkhon Bophit

12:45 : Welcome on board Cruise at Wat Chong-Rom Pier.

13:00 : Depart from The Wat Chong-Rom to Bangkok. The delicious buffet lunch with Thai & International cuisine will be served on board, in the meantime, to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery on Grand Pearl Cruise. We bought tickets from their office in River City. Even in these Covid-19 days the cruise was fully booked, and there were many tourgroups. We were lucky and got a table outside, and the best thing with this cruise is the opportunity just to sit and enjoy the view and the sights one passes on the way. The buffet was better than expected. The service was also better than expected.

full day at Ayutthaya. Great trip and perfect for a short three day trip to Bangkok. We visited 3 sights with a guided tour and 40-50 minutes free time at each. This was just right for the time we were spending in Bangkok. We visited Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Wat Maha That and Bang Pa-In Palace. The boat trip back was good as was the meal. The hotel pick up was on time and the coach was ready and waiting. 4 stars because we couldn’t really hear the guide through the coach PA.

We went on the Grand Pearl day trip to Ayutthaya which included a lunch cruise back to Bangkok. Despite me having informed our tour guide in the morning before boarding the bus of my son's peanut allergy and despite the assurances of the chef on the boat that peanuts were not used in the cooking, my son suffered an anaphylactic attack on board the ship immediately after eating.

The Grand Pearl leaves off from the River City dock which is in the most awesome spot in the city… Cruising down the river to see all of the temples and bridges all lit up it’s worth the trip… The dinner is pretty tasty too… And we had a lot of fun with a live band - for the price of the ticket at $60 it is a fantastic value and a real highlight of the city!!

Very average river boat trip. The best thing about this trip is the views of the city, my advice is to look for something else a bit more personal and less mass tourism for a more memorable experience.

My family and I got a table outside the boat which was excellent because we were right in front so we were able to see everything from our table. However, there wasn't enough lighting outside so it was a bit hard to eat, or take pictures. Food selection was not a lot but it was ok.
