One of the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia, Siam Ocean World spreads across an area of 10,000 square meters. It is housed on two floors, in the basement of Siam Paragon shopping mall of Bangkok. It is a subsidiary of the Oceanis Australia Group, one of the best aquarium operators in the whole world. With its innovative approach and huge array of aquatic exhibits, Siam Ocean World is one of the most frequented tourist attractions in Thailand. Apart from its recreational options, it also proves to be a very good learning center for kids. The exhibit is divided into seven zones, each with individually designed theme. Meet some rare and bizarre-looking marine life, from striped frogfish to blind cave fish, nautiluses to humped head Maori Wrasse. Feel the skin of friendly starfish and walk amongst the ocean’s fiercest predators – ragged-tooth sharks, black-tipped sharks, sting rays – in the 270-degree underwater tunnel. Better yet, dive into the depth of the ‘Open Ocean’ and flirt with the sharks and colourful marine creatures, or hop aboard a glass-bottom boat and simply watch them dance underneath your feet.

does the ticket allow me to exit the aquarium for lunch and re-enter again?

Hi. No, thats not allowed. But i had gone for a 5pm tour which is late saver, it was less cost. U have early saver, i think that allows u to go from opening to 12pm. But sealife n madame Tussauds ticket are available in combo as both are in 1 complex. So u can save time n money in that.
Us outside food and water allowed to taken inside?

No. But snacks and drinks are allowed as long as they are in your bag. Your bag is kept with you, you can just open it and grab a bite anytime.
Does 2.5 year old need ticket?

No. Under 3 years, it is free.

Total cost worthy and an amazing place to spend the afternoon if you do not wish to go out in the sun. You will find sharks, huge sting rays and lots of fish and marine life here. Must visit if in Bangkok as it will only take 2 hours maximum.

Very warm service crew. The attraction itself was supber! How the area is designed and how marine life was showcase really amazed me! Been to different aquarium in the world but this one is probably the best I went to so far. There’s feeding time for different sea animal, do keep a look out for the show times!

This is one of the largest Aquariums in the world. Spectacular displays, specialized sections, touch and learn and lots to learn. Exciting to stroll and teach and discuss the multiple varieties of sea life. Very colorful. Definitely worth a visit. Buy joint action Aquarium and Madam Tussards tickets at a discount and save. This aquarium is at the bottom of the mall Siam Paragon in the centre of Bangkok. You can take Bts and exit at Siam station. Aquarium is relaxing and obviously suitable for young and old. Maybe the best attraction is passing in a gallery inside a big fish tank, you will see Sharks and other fish literally passing over your head.

It was fun. the statues were realistic looking and we had lots of fun looking around. a little piece of advice though, if u wanna get the wax hands made, put it in a cool area on in the fridge when u get home because ours melted.

This place is really fun, but not for multiple visits. Luckily we arrived around 17h and there was almost no one around. We hade a good time. Great to see internationally famous people as well as Thai celebrities.

This is a nice activity for when you think you've had too much temples in Bangkok. It was a fun experience being around wax figures of your fave personalities. There were interactive games too, which added up to the fun.

Located in a mall in Bangkok, this museum has variety of famous wax sculptures from around the world. I am surprised and proud that this museum shows our first president wax sculpture Mr. Soekarno. It is not so crowded inside, and you need to pay THB 950.00 to enter. They offer a movie but I didn't have time to watch it.

Madam Tussards Bangkok has a good collection of famous Asian personalities and is not too crowded with tourists. Well laid out in sequence as well as interesting display. Children can recognized the famous personalities and pose with their favourites. A good place to learn and relax

Madame Tussauds is an interesting place. Life like wax sculptures of famous figures from around the world. We had a fun time posing with the wax models of our favorite characters

The variety of fishes in the Sea Life is huge. The exhibits are very well maintained. The place is kept clean and the staff keeps a regular check on the cleanliness. The sharks, penguins and other big fishes are worth watching. The 3D movie, featuring Sponge Bob can be skipped and the time can be utilized elsewhere as the movie is mediocre.
