How to Reach Bangkok?

By Flight

To reach for the city of Bangkok there are two main airports, one running in the North and another from the East of Bangkok. It is the Suvarnabhumi Airport that locates itself 25 km to the east and the Don Muang Airport located 24 km to the north catering to domestic and international flights in abundance.

Suvarnabhumi airport has direct and easy connectivity to the city by taxis, buses, and Airport Rail Link that is a high-speed train service in downtown Bangkok. There will be round the clock availability of roadway services from outside both the airports to drop you to your final destination.

By Road

The roadway services offer you with buses and taxis that get you wherever you wish to be in Bangkok. There are three bus terminals considered to be the major ones, the Northern Bus Terminal- Mochit, the Eastern Bus Terminal-Ekkamai, and the Southern Bus Terminal-Sa Tai.

The buses will take you not just round the city but also to Pattaya, Krabi, Phuket, etc. cities neighbouring Bangkok. If looking out for taxi services, then do know that the taxis run according to the metered price so confirm the prices before the journey.

By Train

Bangkok has great rail connectivity throughout Thailand and also to other neighbouring countries. Hua Lamphong serves as the main railway station of the city to travel to neighbouring countries and many other parts of Thailand. There is another railway station, Thornburi station that connects the city from within for travelling to the local parts of the city.

We took this day tour and enjoyed every bit of it. The tour involved going to Ayuthaya by bus, visit the Summer Palace and see the magnificent Ayuthaya temples in ruins and return by the boat cruise by evening. The lunch on the boat was delicious. Overall a great tour!

The cruise was way too long . The ship and layout is lovely. We felt a bit ripped off as the food variety and standard we got was terrible. Service was okay. Live entertainment was very short . Didn't enjoy as much .

The Grand Pearl Cruise is very entertaining way to spend an evening in Bangkok. The sights are wonderful and the boat is large, comfortable and a very smooth ride. The food was ok, nothing great for sure as was basic and quantities were limited.

This cruise is worthwhile taking. Make sure you allow plenty of time to get to the boat as traffic is at grid lock around that area. The good is buffet style, although it could be a little hotter. The entertainment is excellent and the evening river cruise is magical. Make sure you explore the 3 levels of the boat. You will have to pay for drinks, a local beer was 178Bth.

The boat was very nice ... we were on the top (open air ) great Atmosphere we had a good night and the food was very nice lots to choose from ... The band and Elvis is something you will not forget lol .. over all it was a good night out on the river

We were disappointed with this dinner cruise. The food was cold and not a great selection and the drinks were very expensive. It was not our first choice and next visit it would not be a choice at all. Would not recommend it. If I could give no stars I would have.

Nice dinner with a wide selection of local and International food. Live music and Thai dance performance was good. The Cruise gives you a chance to do some sightseeing while you cruise along the river.

Fine cruise from River City Pier, a warm welcome at the dock. It's good to reach about half an hour earlier to enjoy the sun set and the evening sight if Chaophraya river. Spacious cruise with fine food and service, live music band and the cultural dance show is entertaining.

We had an dinner cruise on the rainy day. Food is quite ok, most of dish are Thai cusine.We had a change to see Bankok at the night, pagodas, temples, goverment buildings which are beside the river, be lighting.

They take your picture at the front of the boat as you arrive and it is ready and framed by the time you leave for around £4.00 - lovely reminder. You can see all the sights whilst you are enjoying the evening.

Went on this with friends there was 4 of us and it was 6000 bht. Drinks expensive this showed as most of the passengers stuck to water and they add 10% service charge as well automatically which we do not agree with. Food was ok not a lot of choice. Desserts were extremely limited on choice. Entertainment ok all albeit a little karaoke.

We choose this trip from our hotel, they peak us from the hotel by a van, then we transform to a bus,very nice trip, great lunch on the boat,we enjoyed the day trip,the only downside, the guide was talking without stop all the time,even on the boat, he didn't stop talking for a moment,too much talking in bed english
