Tour Description

Nonverbal Performance! During the time to cook the Thai-foods. The stage filled with actors’ skillful movements, various facial expressions as well as the audience’s participation, over comes the language barrier, giving laughter and joy to people regardless of gender and race.

Show with lots of audience participation! A surprise wedding ceremony, and an exciting dumpling challenge. Audience can get a chance to become one part of show.

The highlight of the show is a “Water Drum Sequence” where drummers beat 5 standing kitchenware drums with water and LED lights on it and this climax makes the audience confused whether it’s drum or their heart beating.

Cookin’ NANTA Show made its international debut in 1999 at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it received “an award for the best performance”. Since then, it has shown in the U.K., Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, etc. Eventually Cookin’ show NANTA made it all the way to New York, premiering at the Minetta Lane Theater on March 7, 2004 & Cookin’ show NANTA had become the first Asian show to open its own theatre on On/Off E Broadway Theater!

What are the timings for Nanta Show Bangkok?

In Nanta Show, there are different show timings being followed. From Sunday to Friday, the show starts at 8.00 pm. And every Saturday, the first show starts at 5.00 pm, and the second show starts at 8.00 pm. Once you’ve entered the entrance, you are sure to feel the artists dazzling performance with spoons, knives, and other kitchen equipment. The tourists are requested to enter the show before it gets started; otherwise, they tend to miss the most amazing introduction. Please note that once the show is started, no one is allowed to enter after 10 minutes

Yes. The entire show is non-verbal, where all the acts and performances are done without making any sound from the artists. The Nanta Show is situated at 99/6-9 Show DC Retail and Entertainment Mega Complex 4th Floor, Rim Klong Bangkapi Road, Bangkapi Sub-District Huai Khwang, Bangkok 10310, Thailand. You can take the MRT service and reach to Phetchaburi Station; from Exit 1 you have to take the Show DC shuttle bus, which is running frequently in every 15 – 30 minutes (based on the traffic). There are also buses, tuk-tuks, and speedboats are operating regularly. If there is no adequate public transport service, you can hire a private car and self-drive, or book a cab and come to the show before the starting time.
What’s the duration of this show?

The duration of the show is exactly 75 minutes. In Nanta Show Bangkok, one can expect a mixture of a non-verbal act with a sense of humour, where you can literally laugh out loud. The non-verbal show follows the story of 3 chefs preparing a wedding banquet when they are under pressure. At the same time, you can get a glimpse of traditional Korean Samul Nori, a kind of music performed simultaneously in four instruments. Then, you can see the award-winning Korean musical performance inside the kitchen set, followed by a lot of drama, comedy, dance, and so on.
How many people take part in this show?

This is very fun live show with minimal production. There are only five actors and actresses, each to perform the entire act with full vigour and enthusiasm. They are well-trained and excellent in facial expression. And, they can make you feel like exciting, laughing, wondering, unknowingly, without giving any hint.

Bangkok famous for buddha temples, very magnificient and shows rich culture of the past. Thais are very friendly and soft mannered. It is very safe to travel anywhere at anytime within the city limits. For those who love history & arts, there is a lot in store for them as well. The Wat Pho ie the themple of the Reclining Buddha is a treat to the eyes & mind. A gold-plated Buddha 45 metres long & 15 metres high. Just next to that is the Grand Palace & Museum. A few blocks away are some more temples like Wat Arun etc.

Something that you just shouldn’t miss is the Safari park. It’s a complete entertainment for the entire family. You can take pictures with tiger cubs and exotic birds here. There are shows of dolphins, whales, chimp’s birds etc. Kids will enjoy this the most, but you will have to do quiet a bit of walking from one show to another.
