Silom Village is a more upscale shopping experience. Not fancy, just nice. We asked our local guide where to get good “designer” bags and he took us there.. We also purchased some nice silk robes for a good price. The street style food they cook up in the center of the village looked amazing, and had it been lunch time we absolutely would have indulged with no hesitation.

We used to go here everytime we went to Bangkok, but this time we were disappointed as its expensive, very touristy and the food was average. There is a nice restaurant directly on the other side of the road where we went to last night, which was super, might go back tonight!

Great Base when staying in Bangkok, hotel, restaurants all in one place, breakfast could be better, but evening meals are superb, ranging from Thai and European, can only say Thai food was good as, I didn't go to Thailand just to eat European food. In the evening the restaurant puts on a thai culture show, can be quite busy as cruise ship passengers come in for their evening meals.

Silom Village was definitely geared toward tourists. Although the food was acceptable, the service only marginal and the show entertaining, our overall experience was quite good. Unfortunately, we were seated farthest from the performers on stage so photo opportunities were limited at best.

Yes I was on an organised tour with members aged over 60 and the seating was unusual but even as a vegetarian I found the food pleasant and the show was superb. Perhaps American tourists should look to their own 'cultural experiences' before criticising those in other lands and perhaps they could learn the basics of grammar and spelling too!

The waiters are rude and uninterested in their work. Basically this place seems for conducted tours. There are far better places for Thai food in Bangkok.

Silom Village in the Silom area of Bangkok is a very nice place. It is meant to resemble a traditional Thai village. The setting is beautiful. There are some eating places and also shops selling many Thai crafts. Shops sell items made of leather and Thai silk. In the courtyard, there are traditional Thai dancing shows. It is very colourful, and the music is quite enchanting.

We came here for the dinner + traditional dance show. The dances are beautiful, as are the costumes. The dancers are excellent and put on a good show. There is live music accompanying. Each dance sequence tells a story from Thai tradition. The food, however, was not very good at all. Disappointing food. You are allowed to take photos and video inside.

If u have any disability with your knees or legs do not go to this show u are forced to sit at a incredibly low table totally unsuitable for anybody with a disability in there legs. The staff refuse to help or supply chairs ruined a otherwise good show. The food was poor no choice and​ way to spicy

Here you can find quality fake bags etc. You can also find a lot of souvenirs. Good place for Thai food. In the back ther is an excellent place where you can do manicure and pedicure.
