My wife and I attended the Silom Village Thai Cultural Center Show and Dinner while in Bangkok for our 25th anniversary. We were awed by the music performed by the live band, and colorful intricate costumes and dancing by the 10 male and female performers. The closeness of the stage to the dinner tables made for an intimate experience and great pictures. Everyone was allowed to take pictures without extra cost during the show. The performers even stood still at various times during their dance routines to allow guests to take better pictures. You could also take additional pictures individually with the performers for an extra fee both before and after the show. The traditional Thai dinner served on low tables in small bowls was also a good experience. We highly recommend the show.

First restaurant we saw. Hungry tourists, what to say. Coconut soup was ok, pad thai too, but the meat inside wasn't familiar to me. Too chewy for a chicken and also different texture. All in all too expensive for under-average food.

It was a short walk to the silom area night market. Not to be missed is mamas restaurant. Very good food. The night market is everything you'd expect from Bangkok. Awesome!

We were there on Saturday night, the place is quiet... traditional dance...i think its a cultural promotion effort by the govt... the food is kinda pricey... we had two dishes and two drinks for 600baht.... but worth the ambience

This place never disappoints.Situated on the Silom road there are lots of shops selling local souvenirs and “antiques” but there are areas where you can stop for a drink or a meal. The main restaurant serves typical Thai dishes, with small plates like in a Spanish taps bar or normal meals. While you are eating you are entertained by live Thai music and dance which is free when you eat there. Definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in a Thai culture. I think the entertainment starts around 8 pm

Although Silom Village is more well known for it's restaurants with good food and entertainment, if you actually want a comfortable place to stay in Silom, at a very affordable price, the Silom Village Hotel, in the heart of the complex, is a good place. The cheaper rooms are a bit tired, and really in need of decoration, for just a couple of hundred Baht more, the rooms are much better and well worth the price.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the Thai dancers at Silom Village. Nice service, good authentic food, and the entertainment was very nice. We were taken by a friend who is a local, and he loves to take foreign guests here.

The food is tasteless and expensive. Service sucks. The waitress/ waiters no smile and not friendly. I ordered hainan chicken rice and club sandwich. Both also tasteless.

We eat here around three or four times every trip to Bangkok, the Chicken \Curry is to die for as is the Red Thai Duck Curry. The whole steamed Sea Bass is also a delight. Service is extremely good. Price is also very very good all told a great place to eat.

We expected the show to be longer, it was very short , food was not great !! Does not represent the Thai cuisine, would suggest to have buffet with varieties of dishes and a revamp on the interior of the main hall for the performance, no value for money, seemed very normal, our tour guide replaced it with the siam niramit show !! Which is way better I suppose, Siam Niramit show was cancelled for booking since someone booked the whole show, and to be replaced with the performance in silom village, silom village performance and setting up needs lots of improvement !! Specially food !!! Needs improvement, to represent the Thai experience !!!
