This review is only about the puppet show and not the restaurant, as we did not eat here. This show celebrates Thai culture in an enjoyable way. The puppets are beautiful, and the puppeteers do a great job in bringing them to life. It is a very small theater, so you'll be close to the stage no matter what. The show is just less than an hour, which is long enough to appreciate it before losing interest. This is definitely worth your time when visiting Bangkok.

If you want a taste of tradition, go to this puppet show in the Asiatique market. It closed in 2008 and has just recently reopened in another area. The actors are talented and the puppets are exquisite. I saw this show in 2008 and was so happy that I got to treat my grandson to it (although at 9, he wasn’t as enthralled as I was at 71). I loved it!

Price of the food was good and normal compared to other mid class restaurants. Except of the fact that there is a free puppet show and the chairs and tables are more exclusive than the other restaurants in that area. This restaurant in the Asiatique area was real different than the other with their romantic Queen Anne style furniture. The authentic Thai puppet show was real nice to see. And ofcourse the most important: the food was of a nice average quality.

We stumbled upon this place just looking for a meal while visiting the Asiatique night market. We had no idea about the puppet show and were pleasantly surprised when it started! We were so glad we got to see this. The performers were really talented and it was good fun when they came in to the audience to interact. The food was also very nice so the show was a bonus for us!

Its at the corner of the market and nice local food served. Its along the main road with the Taxi stand is just outside its restaurant. Too bad we miss the show as its only perform on tues onwards. Enjoyed the food there and went for shopping after that.

I came with some work colleagues To do some shopping in the market, to watch the puppets and have some supper. Food was very good Thai food and the puppets extremely charming managed with incredible skill. The wholepackage was worth it but I am not sure I would go for either alone and I think once is enough.

An average restaurant food and service wise, but the puppet show was fun and the staff was very friendly. Worth going there once just for the experience. Would not recommend to go for the food alone.

Very grand as you enter. White arm chairs & long white lounges that sit 3 persons. Not practical. The dirt /stains on chairs make them look old. Food is served in small portions. There's a puppet show during dinner in the restaurant itself. Very entertaining.

We visited this restaurant after the Muay Thai live (which is amazing) the host was very friendly and the decor was very nice. However it was the food that was amazing the freshness of the seafood and the pad Thai was amazing, the tiger prawn was just full of flavour. Prices was not too bad at all.
