  • How to Reach Bangkok?

    By Flight

    To reach for the city of Bangkok there are two main airports, one running in the North and another from the East of Bangkok. It is the Suvarnabhumi Airport that locates itself 25 km to the east and the Don Muang Airport located 24 km to the north catering to domestic and international flights in abundance.

    Suvarnabhumi airport has direct and easy connectivity to the city by taxis, buses, and Airport Rail Link that is a high-speed train service in downtown Bangkok. There will be round the clock availability of roadway services from outside both the airports to drop you to your final destination.

    By Road

    The roadway services offer you with buses and taxis that get you wherever you wish to be in Bangkok. There are three bus terminals considered to be the major ones, the Northern Bus Terminal- Mochit, the Eastern Bus Terminal-Ekkamai, and the Southern Bus Terminal-Sa Tai.

    The buses will take you not just round the city but also to Pattaya, Krabi, Phuket, etc. cities neighbouring Bangkok. If looking out for taxi services, then do know that the taxis run according to the metered price so confirm the prices before the journey.

Have always been interested in the style of Muay Thai, and this show was unbelievable, showing the history of it. The guys and girls involved in the show all did an amazing job. Two live fights at the end were rather awesome too. And to finish the evening off, I got to have my picture took with the guys!

If you're into martial arts, a definite must-see to have a glimpse of Muay Thai's history and development. The love story script was somewhat cheesy but entertaining. Love the action, choreography, sound and special effects. The cast seemed very well selected, highly skilled and visually appealing.

On the last night of our stay in Bangkok, our itinerary is a tour of Asiatique Riverfront which includes a Muay Thai Live - the Legend Lives performances at a large indoor air-conditioned arena named The Stage.

If you’re wanting to see actually Thai boxing, don’t come here. The show is very well choreographed and the performers are very athletic. That’s where the positives end. There really is no narrative to the story, it’s just four sketches that you will neither understand or really care about. This lasts for about an hour, next comes the actual Muay Thai fights. Except, you get two fights between pretty young kids. The kids try and I actually thought they did great, but having watched a fair amount of combat sports I hoped for more. Honestly, you don’t need to see the show and if you want actual boxing just spend the money and go to a stadium.

The story is so sophisticated cleverly incorporating history, drama, comedy, romance and thrilling live action fights with a beautiful storyline. There are even two actual fights with three rounds each after the performance with three rounds each. The size of the performance hall is big and the sound effects are incredible. Time well spent and thoroughly enjoyed.

Knowing nothing about Muay Thai, I found this show very informative and well executed. The athletic capabilities of the performers were outstanding, the demonstrations of the Muay Thai strokes were especially impressive, this is like a good tasting menu of Muay Thai.

Went the first time to Muay Thai Live in Asiatique: The show and story was interesting. But it was a bit shorter than advertised, only 45 minutes. After that it took about 10-15 minutes to change the stage. I was looking forward to the live fights. They advertise two live fights at the end of the show.

I booked the show well aware that it is not an actual boxing match but this was just plain terrible. The storyline made no sense & we couldn't really connect how this relates to Muay Thai at all. A few good stunts but still nothing great compared to some of the other shows at a fraction of cost.

The stunts are really good and the cast are amazing. I just felt that the story is not well thought of and the transition of the various acts are not well executed. Children also should not watch the 2 last acts which shows actual Muay Thai fighters. The fights can be quite bloody.

The show package is quite good. However for younger children need some parental guidance since there is 1 guy in the show act as gay and do some sex act (even not very vulgar) and of course the fighting acts. It began with history of Muay Thai for about 50 minutes and continued with 2 live match of about 30 minutes.

Very interesting exhibition, comprised of 5 or 6 separate shows including a brief history of the sport, several legends from ancient times, a modern "West Side Story" take on Thai street gang fight, and concluding with two individual Mai Thai boxing matches, one with males, the other with females.

The stage production of the history of Muay Thai was very well dine. Audio visual effects were well choregraphed with the actors on stage. In addition to the stage production, there were two live Muay Thai fights. I would recommend you to buy your tickets online as there are considerable discounts over onsite tickets. Great deals on premium seats are worth the price.

I would not recommend taking under 13s to this show. It is incredibly violent - yes it is a show so no bloodshed but it's like watching a 15 rated video game of Muay Thai. The action/violence keeps coming. It's relentless violence and also way too loud - all 3 generations had their fingers in their ears! We left after 40mins.

Great introduction to Muay Thai. It gives some history, some myths, and explains the moves. The 2 amateur matches afterward were just that. Amateur. The 1st one wasn't that exciting, but the 2nd one had a knock out. You get what you get for those. I'm sure some nights they're not exciting and some nights they are. The show it's self would be great for all ages, the matches afterward might not be good for the younger kids.
